Escondido, California - Paul Yancey, CDR, USNR and CAPT, TWA, Flew West June 16, 2021. He leaves his wife of 60 years, Patricia Leigh Duffy-Yancey, and girls, Megan Maureen and Annalee Theresa. Born in Yreka, CA. Grew up in Sacramento. At San Jose State University he met Patti. They married in college. Paul was a Santa Clara County Sheriffs Deputy for three years. Then, the Navy took him up for a flight. That was it He earned his wings after flight training in Pensacola . Fla. Two tours in Vietnam. Three bronzer stars & many more awards. He flew for Trans World Airlines for 31 years. While there, a side job with a friends company ~ Airline Consultant Group ~ He helped fly Elvis Presleys plane (Convair 880) from Fort Lauderdale up to 'Graceland ' to be put on static display. Paul had honesty, Integrity, and Faith in the Lord, Love of Family and his Profession(s). A Military Service was held at Miramar National Cemetery July 28, 2021. Celebration of Life Afterwards.
