February 6th, 2013 letter: Hello VS-29 Members, To all our VS-29 shipmates, it is now the first week in February and it is time to start thinking about the 2013 VS-29 All Hands Reunion that will be held in Pensacola Beach, Florida. I hope everyone has had a good 2012 and doing well. TIME: April 22-26 2013 (Monday - Friday) PLACE: Reunion Headquarters: Days Inn Pensacola Beachfront (same as previous reunions) 16 Via Deluna Pensacola Beach, FL 32561 Tel: 850-934-3300, for reservations call 1-800-934-3301. Ask for Marta Ray. Check in at 1600, check out at 1100. Be sure to tell them you are with the VS-29 Reunion group. A 2013 Group rate will be available ($99 street side and $129 seaside) Each room has a refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, wet-bar, and wireless internet. Includes continental breakfast, two pools, beach access THINGS TO DO: Naval Aviation Museum, The Blue Angels practice, Fishing, Golfing, Antiqueing, Sailing, Zoo. USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile, Al (60 miles) VA Representative Monday 22 April Mr. Larry Orvis, Visitors Information Manager will bring Information Packages Containing Activates To Do Around the Pensacola Area. Blue Wahoos Baseball team is out of town the week of the reunion.
