William A. Blee

  William A. Blee  81, of Lakeside, CA died at home with his wife and daughter by his side on January 30, 2021.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Susan Blee. He is survived by his wife Beatrice, son Andrew Blee, daughter Mary Blee, step-daughter Lisa Anderson and nine grandchildren.

Raised in Point Loma, Bill spent much of his life in his beloved San Diego. He served as a Navy pilot with the VS 29 squadron, on the USS Kearsarge, based at North Island, and ran a successful local CPA practice for 48 years. He was a graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and St. Andrew's Episcopal Parish in La Mesa. An easy-going man, Bill enjoyed time with his family, golfing, rooting for the Padres, dancing, singing, and a good glass of red wine. We will miss his big, beautiful smile. Services will be at 10 a.m. this Saturday at Singing Hills Memorial Park. Donations in his honor can be made to Mission Hospice.
