2010 Officer Reunion |

Dave Bitonti organized a VS 29 officers reunion for 21-24 October 2010 in San Antonio. When Dave became unable to attend, a committee including Herk & Donna Ambos, Rod & Beck Wharton, Phil & Karen Oppedahl, Bob Young, Bill & Kay Lewis, Skeet & Jan Trapnell, and Carlys Phillips took over and finished with the arrangements. Many thanks to everyone who helped with the reunion. Over 14 of the 60's group and their wives attended, including special guests Judy Laberteaux, Harland Howard & daughter, and Hal Shrewsbury. A great time was had by all.

The reunion included:
Thursday cocktails and reception at a VS29 Ready Room (open for the duration) in the Doubletree Hotel.
Friday trip to Nimitz museum in Fredericksburg, with lots of
shops for those who don't want to see another museum.
Saturday free time to
sightsee SAT, Alamo, USAA, Riverwalk, zoo, etc.
Saturday night dinner in
the Tower of the Americas, departing Sunday or Monday.
