Hello VS-29 Members,

To all our VS-29 shipmates, it is now the first week in February and it is time to start thinking about the 2013 VS-29 All Hands Reunion that will be held in Pensacola Beach, Florida. I hope everyone has had a good 2012 and doing well.

TIME: April 22-26 2013 (Monday - Friday)

PLACE: Reunion Headquarters:
Days Inn Pensacola Beachfront (same as previous reunions)

Tel: 850-934-3300, for reservations call 1-800-934-3301. Ask for Marta Ray. Check in at 1600, check out at 1100. Be sure to tell them you are with the VS-29 Reunion group.
A 2013 Group rate will be available ($99 street side and $129 seaside)
Each room has a refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, wet-bar, and wireless internet. Includes continental breakfast, two pools, beach access

Naval Aviation Museum, The Blue Angels practice, Fishing, Golfing, Antiqueing, Sailing, Zoo. USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile, Al (60 miles)

Blue Wahoos Baseball team is out of town the week of the reunion.

Tour of Historic Pensacola, and daily Biloxi casinos Bus Trips, and of course having a beer and telling sea stories.
Special activities for the wives TBA.

COST: $75.00 per person, Covers, Beer, Wine, Friday Breakfast, Sanwiches, and Monday Low Country Boil.

Special activities for the wives TBA. Each wife should plan to bring a red hat of some kind for reasons unknown at this point.
Plan to bring pictures, cruise books, memorabilia, etc. to back up lies.
Uniform for all activities will be casual.
Self pay plan on meals and Naval Aviation Museum IMAX ($7.50) each.
Cost: $75 per person registration money (pay Barnes at check-in) covers the Sea Scape room expenses, supper Monday night, continental breakfasts and Friday morning breakfast. 2013 Reunion Hats. (Yellow hat, Black Letters) $12.00
