Aahoy Maties...Been layiing any skid marks in the sky?
A
while back I took a straw pool on having an off-year reunion in
Tulsa. The response was good enough to spur Mitch (Cliff Mitchell)
to set about looking for a venue, and a time to hold it.
Well, it is ON. This October 2-4
2018, an off year get together will be held at the
River Spirit Casino in Tulsa. Basics of the gig, with more detail
coming, is that the rooms are $99/night, hospitality room (funded by
whatever donation you might want to kick in), good food, games of
chance, etc. More info along with a link to the Casino/hotel for
reservations, etc. is forthcoming. Shuttle service is available from
TUL, rent a car, hitch a ride...whatever.
Now, I need your
help. What else can we set up, outside of gambling, for you to do,
while you are here. Golf, shopping, gun range (yea we're 2A here).
Let me know.
Let me know if you are coming, and how many we
might expect. As always, 29 VS'rs (O's and E's) as well as those
from other squadrons are invited.

Here are a couple of options for making
reservations in the room block:

Shipmate Reunion Group Link

Call 1-888-748-3731 and ask for the Shipmate Reunion for October
1-4, 2018.
With either option you can choose which dates
you would like to stay. You don’t have to have all 4 nights to get
the group rate.
There is a cutoff date of September 1, 2018
to book rooms and still get the group rate.
The hospitality suite is a part of that group
block of rooms so it will be another reservation if you would like
to make that one on the same credit card as your room or someone
else’s room.
